The Need for Re-Positioning Celebrity Carbon Footprint
Many of the above celebrities would be seen embracing the green revolution, or would like you to believe that. Celebrity image must blend with habits and lifestyle to lighten their carbon footprints and make this a reality.

To highlight, recently commented in a popular car blog was a certain “green” celebrity who zips around Hollywood with his hybrid car, happened to also jets off in a private jet which burns 11,000 gallons of jet fuel at 9,000 miles, averaging 0.8 miles per gallon. Then too, when celebrities claim to be environmentally friendly yet owning Porsche 911 Carreras, Mercedes SLs, Audi Q7s, the credibility issue arises. Then again, rich celebrities could own the world’s most fast and furious cars, simply for the sake of owning them and who are we to judge?

The saving grace is that at least some of many truly Environmentally Friendly Celebrities do live up to their image, preferring to fly commercial rather than private-jetting, donating to green car developments and living up the hybrid car lifestyle, more for themselves than for the world to see..
