You love the adrenaline rush and the thrill even at the thought of driving that sleek, stylish dream sports car along the highway. And it goes without saying that with large engines come high consumption of fuel of course. For the typical person, it would seem that driving that exotic sports car to work is not a cheap option especially with the rising fuel prices.

High speed hybrid sports cars are being designed by car manufacturers today to satisfy consumers who like to go at high speeds and at the same time, save fuel. The gasoline-electric engine concept is so popular today that manufacturers, such as Toyota and Honda are now opening a new line in their factory that produces hybrid sports cars.
The Honda Hybrid Sports Car CR-Z proves to all that Hybrid Sports Cars do not sacrifice its stylishly muscles to be environmentally friendly. CR-Z stands for ‘Compact Renaissance Zero’ featuring advanced technologies that deliver ultimate driving pleasures while reducing the vehicle’s environment footprint.
The Toyota FT-HS concept car will roll off production plants in 2009, delivering a 3.5-liter V6 capable of almost 400 horses was the original plan, and with a slightly demure design by the new CAFÉ standards though.
Ferrari’s President, Mr Luca Cordero di Montezemolo recently stated that the world famous sports car maker will have a hybrid powered vehicle ready for the market around 2015.
